Our beautiful, perfect, sweet, new nephew

We had a special arrival on the 23rd of March - Isaac Samuel Duce - a new nephew for us & a beautiful new son /brother for Nic, Andy & Dylan. Mum & Dad went over to help out and look after Dylan and now I want to go & 'help' too !!! Minutes old....

Lazy Sunday

We had a very relaxed Sunday, taking the kids up to the park at Shoal Pt (the next suburb up from us) & a bit of a picnic on the beach. The weather is starting to get cooler here & is perfect for days out like this.

Ned climbing what he calls earth mountains?? He says "Mum do know I am a mountain climber & I can climb earth mountains like Unca Dunc??"

He he he - I snuck this one on. Who's the cool dude in long shorts!! I have finally done it - no more buying things just to return them the next day - I am well know at the returns counter of most menswear shops in Mackay (& Blackwood, hey Barb!!)

Launch Yourself Jarrah

Jar went to the Launch Yourself youth festival on the weekend - there were heaps of bands, a tattoo artist (fake!!), heaps of stalls, skateboarding displays & other 'extreme' sports & just heaps of fun. It went to 11pm - she has a better social life than us!!!

How gorgeous is this girl!! They say beauty is only skin deep but that's just not true with Jar - she's beautiful all the way through.

Brace Yourself

Jarrah got her plates out & braces on just before the Easter hols & it has'nt been much fun for her. She was so brave & hardly complained even though they were causing her a fair bit of pain. It will all be worth it in the end though.....

Galaxy Outdoor Cinema

Our first time at the travelling outdoor cinema & it was excellent. The neighbours gave us a family pass to see Happy Feet so we packed up our dinner, blankets, pillows & a thermos of tea for a night on the soccer oval here in Bucasia. Can't wait to do it again.

Easter

A nice Easter for us - in between coats of paint - Ned woke us up at 4.30am saying "Mum I've been spoiled!!" Neds highlight was a Lightening McQueen car with eggs in his bonnet & Jars was phone credit!!! She only had her braces on for a few days so choc eggs weren't high on her list of wants.

Painting Painting & more Painting

We (or I should say Al) painted Mum & Dads place for them over Easter while they were in Perth. It was a huge job but it looks fantastic now - they were so happy with the end results.
