Jaimi Visits!!!

Jaimi came to visit for a long weekend just at the end of Nic & Andys trip which was great cause we couldn't stay sad for long with her here!! It's been quite a while since they had seen each other and of course they just slipped back into their old comfortable ways instantly. It was lovely laying in bed and hearing them giggling away just like the old days. They went shopping, to the movies, exploring round the city heart, swimming in our neighbours pool (they were away) and doing girly stuff.
The photos below are taken the night I had the great idea to get takeaway & head up to this lookout to see fireworks. We waited for ages for the fireworks and when they finally came on they were really lame!! Jar reckons we had better cracker nights in our backyard in Jabiru!!!

The next day when I loaded these photos up on the computer I couldn't believe how revolting & graffitied it was where we sat and ate our dinner - couldn't tell in the dark!!! Well Jaimi don't say we don't pull out all stops for our visitors!!!

Our mexican night & it's pretty daggy but we printed off bingo cards and played bingo on the TV!!! Was worth it for heaps of laughs though - noooooo bingoooooo (an inhouse joke!!!)

Bits 'n' Pieces

I took heaps of photos while they were here so here's a few miscellanous ones.........

Dylan sleeping over at our house - it was great cause Ned stayed in his bed for the whole night & has slept in there every night since - thanks Dylan!!!

Oohhh I just love my little nephews & I cried my eyes out the night we had to say goodbye!!!

Isaac's Christening

Part of the reason that Nicky & Andy came over was to christen Isaac. He was christened at the Anglican church near Mum & Dad's in a really nice ceremony. Ali & Steve who are good friends of Nic & Andy's travelled up to be godparent's along with Jo and one of Nic's friends from Perth who could'nt attend but I stood in for. Afterwards we went back to Mum & Dad's to celebrate with yummy food, a beautiful cake and of course a couple of bottles of champers!!!

5 Boys in a boat.

Dad took Andy, Wayne, Ned & Dylan out for a bit of a spin on the river. Unfortunately Dylan isn't to be seen in any of the photos as he was fast asleep on the bottom of the boat!!

Super Son in Law

Look what Andy did for Dad - gave his shed a good clean up and some organisation that it desperately needed.
and yes all tools have been drawn around!!!!
How's this for a lure display!!??!
Don't worry Andy - this will still be here when you come back!!!!!

More Seafood!!!

We are a bit of a seafood lovin' family so what do you do after a seafood festival?? Have another one straight away of course!!!
