Photo a day challenge...

I'm at it again - I couldn't commit to 365 again so this January challenge seemed much more doable!!

I'm taking all of mine as instagrams on iphone.

I absolutely hate having my pic taken so I look a little serious here!!

I don't eat breakfast so a cuppa tea is all i have.

Jar got me these cute superman undies - a bit of cropping was required for this one!!!

err yeah we seriously need a new one but they are bloody expensive and all look the same - I think i'm gunna have to make one!

Can't help smile when I watch my chooks eat yoghurt - they end up covered in it!

When I saw this holly hobbie thermos at the op shop it took me straight back to primary school and mum sending us off with yummy soup for lunch in winter.  My sisters both had this one - I had sesame st - but this just brings back so many memories.....

Ali turned 42 on the 7th and we made it an all day celebration to show him how much we love and appreciate him.......

his fave coffee club annual breakfast followed by a head, neck and shoulders massage for 45 mins...

 a walk on the river front where there was an awesome singer at the riverside cafe

 checking out some of the street art down there - this sugarcube sculpture represent the Islander people who were 'blackbirded' (stolen) to come and cut cane.  Its placed right in the spot where they came off the boats and they were identified with fingerprints which the artist somehow etched into each cube (above)

 strolling amongst the neon glowing trees !!  Their pretty though....

I was really tossing up getting Al this book for his birthday - ha ha ha!!!

vale squeaker

Ned's little mouse Squeaker passed away peacefully of old age on the 2nd January - he took it pretty well and Squeak is now buried in the bottom of my vege patch.

After the end of the year that we had I was hoping that the new year was going to be better.  It can only get better now right? right?

I'm skipping xmas on the blog this year though i do have big plans for a xmas in july........
