Wednesday phone call to Caro was a mega one today - 142 minutes and 26 seconds!!!!

Jar's been wanting a little table to put her makeup on so I found this little cutey today at the thrift shop for $2.00. I glued a piece of funky ikea fabric to the top and sealed the whole thing with Mod Podge, just need to estapol the legs and it's ready to go.

Preparing Tom's cake - had the great idea to light 50 odd sparklers in one go and jam them into the cake. As soon as the first one went up it was on!! Fire alarms went off in the house and we had to run the cake to Tom and virtually chuck it at him!!! They could feel the heat off the cake as we came out the door!!!

Bl%#dy Lego
I was just checking out my girlfriend Karlee's blog and cracked up when I saw this - I didn't even know she took a photo!! Her 365 blog entry below explains it and yes it does taunt me and I have visions of sneaking down there with a hacksaw one night!!!
The things mothers of boys will do! After school while Jacqui and I were talking, Ned and Riley were playing with their Lego men and dropped one down this pipe. We tried with sticks and shoving Rileys arm, but it still justs sits there taunting us!

These used to be a special treat that I could only get in Adelaide but now that I have found out theres a source in Mackay I'm gunna have to show a little bit of control!!!

I have cooked Jed's food on and off for years but these days she won't eat anything else. I suppose having hardly any teeth is a pretty good reason to eat nice soft homemade dog food!

Thank god this arrived today, I couldn't take another day of disappointment!
Ned bought this lego obi wan kenobi on ebay and has been checking the mail box every day since!!

I gave this little table a face lift today for Jar - it's perfect for her lamp and clock.
The leg colour is a little bit closer to the colour of Jar's tree.

Jar finished her painting today and it looks amazing.
It's actually painted in a pearl sage green but it comes out like this in the photo.
