Day 141 (13.03.10)
Seriously how windy does it have to get before coconuts fall off ?? It would save us the hassle of getting the guy round to snip 'em off but they just won't drop!

Ned and Riley had their first sleepover tonight - they wouldn't let me take any photos all night so this is the only pic I got and I had to whip out the camera and take it before Riley stuck his head under the blanket!!!

We had Graeme (greydog!) come to visit for a couple of days - it was great to see him and catch up over a couple of 'cold drinks'!!!

Got this thread holder at the thrift shop today ($2) - I didn't even realise I've always needed one until I got it!!!

I'm going to have to give Ned his tea straight after school - this is about 6.15pm and he missed dinner by about 10 mins! This happens alot and there's no waking him, we just stick him in bed and give him a big brekkie the next morning!!

I made Jed a new cover for her bed today with a big piece of lightweight denim I got at the op shop for $3.00.
She loves it!! Though she loves anything soft that she can sleep on!

Where do you go when you have a problem?? Google of course!! We found out that kitty litter hardens paint and it does!! Al and I hit two different Woollies to clear out the kitty litter shelf!!

Bit of a disaster today - we went around the side to check out our paint and we hadn't considered that living across the road from the beach would mean that steel rusts alot quicker. We have around 60 tins that either have rusted out or are about to, we lifted one up and the butt fell out and spilt paint everywhere!! Not sure how we are going to deal with this but it's gotta be quick!!

Still absolutely bucketing down here so we printed off heaps of these and made some cool folded things!!
My fave's are the mini Galaga game (Al's all time fave game when he was younger) and of course Max from Where the Wild Things Are.

I printed these sweet pictures off the net for above Ned's bed.

I had the great idea to make heaps of these recycled newspaper baskets to give Easter gifts in, but after this one I have decided paper mache might be easier. I was planning on weaving a ribbon around the top of each but it was so painful that I finished it off with duct tape and stuck our remote controls in it!!
