Day 328 (17.09.10)

Got my modem going and set up our new Thub - I love it!!

Day 327 (16.09.10)

Poor Ned has really high temps, a bad cough and headache today and all he wants is to be cuddled up!  Al gladly offered to help!!!

Day 326 (15.09.10)

Mum and Dad got three new red chooks and they are all named after redheads - of course theres a Julia Guillard in there!!!

Day 325 (14.09.10)

Trying to set up my new modem and I have this massive amount of wires even though it's wireless!!!!

Day 324 (13.09.10)

Jar and I made this potato barrel / nest today.  We have some good stock from dad including a purple variety.

Day 323 (12.09.10)

I have been trying different dough recipes and I think this is the one - really elastic and it tripled in size so we had heaps to freeze.

Day 322 (11.09.10)

Ned turned 8 today and it started nice and early with his mate, Tom coming over for breakfast and a play.
Playing with this huge foam bullet shooting machine gun that Jo and Wayne gave Ned, they were meant to shoot the plastic cups but really wanted to shoot each other so we gave them sunnies and let them go for it!!

Ned's other mates, Riley (of course!) and Flynn  (and Nanny and Pop) came round for lunch and more playing so he had a great day at home and we didn't have to organise a party!!

Day 321 (10.09.10)

Another one of those crazy pics - Jo and Wayne came round to see Ned for his birthday early before they went away for their anniversary!!

Day 320 (09.09.10)

Ned's Lego block cake to take to school tomorrow - it was a labour of love for Al and I !!!
(it looks sorta disgusting in the pic but looked better in real life - slightly!!!)

Day 319 (08.09.10)

Somethings gone wrong with this pic but I went to dad's today for some beans and scored two freshly laid eggs and some potatos for growing!!

Day 318 (07.09.10)

Our possom that lives in our roof has always seemed comfortable around us and tonight I reached up and he reached out to me so we grabbed some carrot (he prefers apples we now know!) and he just took it straight out of my hand!!

Day 317 (06.09.10)

Swimming lessons for Ned's class for the next two weeks..

Day 316 (05.09.10)

Jar came home from Brissy today and it wasn't until right now did I realise I didn't even get her in the shot!!

Day 315 (04.09.10)

Spent the afternoon making dad and Al golf hand towels to put with their fathers day pressies!

Day 314 (03.09.10)

Went to visit Dad and Jo tonight for a chinese takeout dinner - yum!

Day 313 (02.09.10)

Jar on the computer - we have moved everything up to have our carpets cleaned!

Day 312 (01.09.10)

We're very excited to see big groups of tomatos on all of our plants.

Day 311 (31.08.10)

I've joined 'postcrossing' and grabbed a few cards today to send out.

Day 310 (30.08.10)

We're camping out in the lounge until the paint fumes die down and with a king size mattress and pile of junk it absolute chaos around here!!

Day 309 (29.08.10)

Started work on our bedrroom makeover today.  Al painted our cupboards white, the whole room white and the ceiling a beautiful aqua bluey colour.  It's so clean and light and airy - I totally love it!!

Day 308 (28.08.10)

Jedda had to go to the vet today and because they moved to a bigger surgery I thought we might trick her but no we still had to drag her in!!

Day 307 (27.08.10)

I have been looking for something for our bedroom to put our tv on and saw this little beauty at the dump and scored it for $7 !!  The guy at the dump couldn't believe I wanted it and seemed reluctant to help me put it in the car!!  When I got to the school one of the Dad's asked if I was on my way to the dump!!!!
I snapped a few pics of ones I've seen at the op shops to show Al and I liked this one below, $40 and a coat of paint, but it wasn't going to fit in my car and the unspoken rule in our house is that if I can get it here nothing is said!!!
I loved this one at the dump but the $370 price tag made my mind up!

Day 306 (26.08.10)

Jar's school volley's - definately time for a new pair!!

Day 305 (25.08.10)

Ned complained about an aching thumb for quite a few days but we didn't think much of it until he woke up this morning with a massive swollen thumb.  It ended up being inflammation in his thumb knuckle and no known reason for why it happened.

Day 304 (24.08.10)

We have so much lettuce that we're picking it in a washing basket now!

Day 303 (23.08.10)

I love it when I get Magna Mail, just to see all the ridiculous things people have invented and all the other crappy things they try to sell (i.e: the extendable arm to wipe your bum, snow shoes - bet they're a big seller, pet de-shedding device, sherpa travel bag - goes well with the snow shoes for those big icy mountain hikes we all regularly do in Australia!! and the dog faux fur coat - err don't they already have a real one??!!)

Anyway I laughed hard when I saw this 'personal massager' sold to help stimulate circulation on neck, shoulders and back - and look, it comes in 7" or 9.5" for those with, umm, extra long necks??!!!
